Important News for Ocean View
| City of Norfolk to Purchase Ocean View Motel | The City of Norfolk has reached an agreement to purchase the Travelers Inn motel and property located at 800 East Ocean View Boulevard for $800,000. A fire destroyed half of the motel in February 2012. The purchase contributes to accomplishing the City strategic objective to improve the quality of life in the Ocean View community. |
| Traffic Pattern on E. Ocean View Ave. | The zig-and-zag in the 1200 block of E Ocean View Ave will be removed in the near future to return it to two lanes in each direction and a turn lane in the middle. There will be no parking in this area. The residents of the 1200 block who are affected by the removal of the parking spaces should contact Ron Brown, Traffic Engineer for City of Norfolk, to acquire a parking permit for spaces to be set aside on Warwick Avenue. rob.brown@norfolk.gov (757)664-7305 |
